Are you Under 25 and see these conditions in your family?

Did you know that it's possible to avoid and/or reverse all of these health challenges so that you might enjoy a happy and healthy life?

Dementia is a condition that affects memory, thinking, and behaviour. Common symptoms include forgetfulness, confusion, difficulty communicating, and changes in mood or behaviour.

Arthritis is a condition that causes inflammation and pain in the joints. Common symptoms include joint pain, stiffness, swelling, and decreased range of motion.

Diabetes
is a condition that affects how your body uses glucose (sugar) for energy. Common symptoms include frequent urination, increased thirst, fatigue, and blurred vision.

Cancer is a disease that occurs when abnormal cells grow uncontrollably in the body. Common symptoms include unexplained weight loss, persistent fatigue, lumps or changes in the skin, and changes in bowel or bladder habits.

To minimise the risk of serious illness and disease, it is important to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

This includes eating a balanced diet, exercising regularly, getting enough sleep, managing stress, and avoiding harmful habits like smoking and excessive alcohol consumption.

Natural solutions to help prevent illness and disease include eating a diet rich in fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and lean proteins, staying hydrated, getting regular exercise, practicing relaxation techniques like meditation or yoga, and incorporating natural supplements like vitamins and herbs into your routine.

It is also important to see your healthcare provider regularly for check-ups and screenings.

How Does Behaviour Affect Health?

The four key styles of the DISC behavioral profiling model are Dominance, Influence, Steadiness, and Conscientiousness. Each of these styles has its own unique characteristics and tendencies that can predispose individuals to certain health challenges.

1. Dominance: People with a dominant style tend to be assertive, competitive, and goal-oriented. They may be more prone to stress-related health issues due to their high levels of ambition and drive. Additionally, their tendency to take charge and make decisions quickly can lead to high levels of stress and burnout.

2. Influence: Individuals with an influential style are outgoing, sociable, and persuasive. They may be more susceptible to overextending themselves and neglecting their own health needs in favor of socializing and networking. This can lead to issues such as poor nutrition, lack of exercise, and sleep deprivation.

3. Steadiness: Those with a steady style are patient, supportive, and reliable. While these traits are generally positive, individuals with a steady style may be more prone to neglecting their own needs in favor of helping others. This can lead to feelings of resentment and burnout, as well as physical health issues related to stress and lack of self-care.

4. Conscientiousness: People with a conscientious style are detail-oriented, organised, and focused on quality and accuracy. While these traits can be beneficial in many aspects of life, individuals with a conscientious style may be more prone to perfectionism and high levels of self-imposed pressure.

This can lead to stress-related health issues such as anxiety, insomnia, and digestive problems.

Overall, each of the four key styles of the DISC behavioral profiling model can predispose individuals to health challenges in different ways. It is important for individuals to be aware of their own behavioural tendencies and take proactive steps to maintain a healthy balance in their lives.

Strategies may include setting boundaries, practicing self-care, seeking support when needed, and finding strategies to manage stress effectively. By understanding how their behavioural style may impact their health, individuals can make more informed choices to promote overall well-being, success in life, career and personal relationships.

When you know your behavioural strengths, you can manage yourself to minimise risk of becoming ill and being a drain to those around you - especially your intimate partner.
